Privacy, Terms of Service, and Refund Policy

Version 1.0 · Effective April 8, 2026. By using Stampify or subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to these documents. They may be updated from time to time; material changes will require re-acceptance before your next upgrade.

    Privacy Policy

    This policy describes what data Stampify collects, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.


    1. Who we are

    Stampify is an image watermarking app for Shopify stores, operated by an independent developer. Any references to “we”, “us”, or “Stampify” in this document mean the operator of the app.

    2. Data we collect

    When you install Stampify on your Shopify store, we receive and store the following:
    • Your shop domain (e.g. yourstore.myshopify.com) and plan tier
    • Watermark and badge configurations you save (text, colors, fonts, position, etc.)
    • Records of each watermark job we process: product ID, image URL, timestamp, result. These records are kept for at most 8 hours and then permanently deleted.
    • Custom fonts (.ttf / .otf) and custom badge images (.png) you upload to your account
    • Support tickets and bug reports you submit, including any screenshots you attach
    • Browser user-agent strings attached to support tickets (for debugging only)
    • Quota usage counters (number of images processed per billing cycle)

    3. Data we do NOT collect

    Stampify does not access, store, or transmit:
    • Your customers' personal information, email addresses, or order history
    • Credit card or payment details (handled entirely by Shopify)
    • Product SKUs, prices, inventory levels, or sales data
    • Storefront analytics or visitor behavior
    • Any data outside the specific scopes granted: read_products, write_products, read_files, write_files

    4. How we use your data

    We use collected data only to:
    • Render watermarks and badges on your product images as you request
    • Enforce your plan's monthly quota
    • Provide the Revert tab so you can undo any watermark within 8 hours
    • Respond to your support tickets
    • Process subscription billing via Shopify
    We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third-party advertisers, analytics providers, or data brokers. We do not train any AI models on your data.

    5. Third parties

    The only third party involved in Stampify's operation is Shopify itself, through the Shopify Admin API and Shopify Billing API. Your Shopify session tokens are stored securely and used solely to act on your behalf within Shopify.

    Stampify's server infrastructure is hosted on Vultr (a cloud provider). Data in transit is encrypted with TLS.

    Product images you submit for watermarking are processed on Stampify's own Rust-based image-processing service, also hosted on Vultr. Images are processed in memory during the watermark/badge step and are not retained beyond the 8-hour Revert window described in Section 6. No third-party image processor is involved.

    6. Data retention

    Watermark records, configurations, and uploaded assets are retained for as long as Stampify is installed on your shop. When you uninstall Stampify:
    • Your session is immediately deleted
    • Watermark records, configs, custom fonts, and custom badges are deleted within 30 days
    • Support tickets may be retained longer for legal / audit reasons
    You can request immediate deletion at any time by emailing contact@stampify.dev or via the in-app Support tab.

    7. Your rights

    Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), you may have the right to:
    • Access the data we hold about your shop
    • Request correction of inaccurate data
    • Request deletion of your data (uninstall achieves this automatically)
    • Export your data in a machine-readable format
    • Object to specific processing activities
    To exercise any of these rights, email contact@stampify.dev or submit a request via the Support tab. We'll respond within 30 days.

    8. Children

    Stampify is not directed at children under 16 and does not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has submitted data to us, contact Support and we'll delete it.

    9. Changes to this policy

    We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in law, our practices, or new features. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect.
